OUR RETAIL SERVICES

For the home brewer we carry an extensive range of supplies and equipment, including sulphiters, bottle brushes, corkers and equipment kits to get you started. Once your creation is ready to be bottled, whether at home or on premise, come in and choose from over 25 different bottle styles.

After bottling, you may want to enhance the product visually with a combination of label and top. Choose from over 500 styles of labels and over 70 different heat shrinks (enotherms). We also carry over 50 different types of 4th and Vine customizable labels, whether to add a special touch to your own blend, or for any special occasion.

After leaving your wine upright for two weeks, it is time to lay your bottles down for long term storage. Whether you need a rack to compliment your dining room or to maximize the utilization of space in your storage area, we have the rack you need. If you're looking for an alternative to your old cardboard boxes we offer various wine crates to not only transport your bottles, but to also store and age your wine. Prices for racks and crates range from $10 to $400.

Finally, there is no better way to enjoy the fruits of your labour than to serve it in fine glassware. Choose from our selection of Burgundy, Bordeaux and Martini glasses, carafes and beer mugs.

SERVICES FOR HOME BREWERS

In addition to the unparalleled service we offer our "on premise" customers, we also provide several services for home brewers.

We can identify grape varieties and their characteristics, and help you choose a suitable wine style and production method. We will also help you plan for proper aging and appreciation.

Our lab facilities allow for basic analysis of grapes or juice, to ensure proper fermentation and optimum results. Testing for alcohol, sugar content and total acid will help you isolate potential problems such as stuck fermentation and off flavours and/or aromas.

When it comes time to bottle, take advantage of our FREE equipment rental program. Corkers, cappers, as well as electric and manual filters are available (please phone ahead to reserve).

For those of you who prefer something cold and bubbly, and are tired of relying on secondary fermentation for carbonating your product, for a small service charge, we will chill, filter and carbonate your product. Then you may use our on premise facilities to bottle.
