Twisted Mist is the newest addition to our family of wines.  Making your own Strawberry Margarita and Mojito at home has never been so easy.  Twisted Mist bring your fruit and fun with the added punch of cocktail character straight from the Tiki Bar!  Twisted Mist will finish as a ready to drink wine cocktail that tastes as if made with real spirts!  So no need to add alcohol, just chill and drink.

Estate Small Lots Series

Last year, Winexpert introduced the Estate Small Lots Series.   Many customers raved about Okanagan Pinot Blanc while unfortunately, some missed out.  Due to the scarce availability of juice, there is a set number of Esate Series Small Lots wine kits produced and once they are gone, they're gone.  This May, Winexpert is introducing two new varieties.

BC Black Sage Bench Chardonnay

British Columbia is at the forefront of new, New-World Chardonnays, with a crisp, bright style that's perfectly balanced for food or casual sipping.  Pale yellow, with fresh mineral and citrus flavours, notes of pear, white peach, green apple and fine acidity lead to a long creamy finish with notes of honey.  This wine can be left unoaked or gently oaked to add notes of vanilla, smoke and butterscotch.

3 Continents Meritage

A Red Meritage is a blend of two or more of the red "noble" Bordeaux varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and the rarer St. Macaire, Gros Verdot and Carmenere.  If the blend includes any other grape variety, it is, by definition, not a Meritage.  Also, to qualify as a Meritage, no single grape variety can make up more than 90% of the blend. 

Winexpert's 3 Continents Meritage combines Petit Verdot from Australia, Cabernet Sauvignon from California and Merlot from Chile to make a unique, globe-spanning vision of the quality a wine of the best varieties can truly possess.

These two fabulous wines will only be available in small quantities for a very limited time.

After April 23rd, they will be $185.00.

Walter & the Olympics

 The Olympics have come and gone.......and we miss it.  For several days our little corner of the world was the centre of the Universe and we should be very proud.  The air was electrified with Olympic spirit and the enthusiam and energy displayed by the athletes of the world had to be seen to be believed.  So, at the end of the day, it would seem like all the hooplah was well worth it!!

We had our own special moment here in the shop on the 3rd day of the Games.  Just the day before, we had all donned our Canada T-shirts and put up the Canadian hockey flag in the front window.  Little did we expect Walter Gretzky to walk through the door!  Walter was very excited to have pictures taken with customers and staff alike and regaled all with his stories and trivia. Talk about Canadian pride - undoubtedly the surprise visit by this remarkable gentleman set the tone for the duration of the Games. 

Memories are made of all of this....

Italian Brunello - Late News Flash

We have just received notice (March 26th) that shipment of the last of our Limited Editions, Italian Brunello, will delayed until April 12th.  This will add approximately 2 weeks onto the ready date, making the new bottling dates the end of May to beginning of June.  We sincerely apologize for this delay.

Due to increasingly excessive (gouging) fees, we have decided to no longer accept Amercian Express cards.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Easter Hours

We will be closed on April 2nd, Good Friday and April 5th, Easter Monday.

We will be open on Saturday, April 3rd.
